found folder

My Dell laptop with W2K has had recent disk (harddrive)
errors. Folders named "Found0000" and "Found0001" have
been created and contain hundreds of files with dll icons
worth hundreds of mb. What are these, and will defragging
rejoin them to the appropriate files/folders?

These are unconnected bits of files, nope you can't
reconnect them, and pretty much they are unreachable
just delete them.
