forwarded emails not getting copied to sent items folder

I have a Office 2003 pro user who forwards emails for an inbox
subfolder. These do not get to sent items but put the sent copy in
that same folder. Forwarding from inbox works fine.

Tools>Options>E-mail Options>Advanced E-mail Options. Try unchecking "In
folders other than the Inbox, save replies with original message"
