You can drag & drop them out of the (opened) message into your reply.
Placing your cursor behind the semi-colon (

allows you to select more than
one item. Another approach is to reightclick them ans choose Select All,
drag & drop and easily remove them from the reply.

When composing your forward message, right-click on the attachment and
select Remove.
