In the MSDN seminar yesterday I thought I heard the presenter say something to the effect that unlike ADO, ADO.NET datasets are Forward Only or Static, disconnected recordsets - you can't go back, as with a dynaset. Is this correct?

The second part is true while the first is almost true - forward only are
not the datasets but the datareaders (some sort of forward only cursors).
The last part is correct - you can't go back.
