Larry Gardner

What is going on with this forum. I have 10 other forums from this
newsgroup, and this is the only forum that is constantly having problems.
Others that have contacted me have reported the same thing.

Posts never appearing, even after a Reset and download all messages.
Posts appearing and then when you click on them, told that the server
deleted them.

What is going on?

What is going on?

It's called censorship.

How do you know if you are being censored? You are kidding, aren't
you?

Alias had a problem with his posts being pulled awhile back so it is
natural for him to think it is happening again. However, that is not
the reason for the problem. A server died. So much for conspiracy
theories.

Alias may not know it, but the disappearance of his posts produced a
great outcry of outrage on his behalf (and against censorship) by many
MVP's privately to Microsoft. They listened to us.

But as I say, any problems you are experiencing with posts over the last
day or so are caused by server failure and nothing more.

My response to Larry didn't appear. I wonder if this one will.

At the risk of being called pedantic, this is NOT a "forum"
it's a Usenet Newsgroup.
True, but other than that...

I only had one posting go awry and all because the first word in
the message was "B-u-l-l-s-h-i-t". Somehow the censor clobbered
it.

This one did, on my server. You'll have to let me know if you see my
reply.

Malke's explanation seems logical, because I'm seeing weird stuff when I
compare what's on the two servers.

It's altogether too random to be censorship this time, Alias. None of my
posts are missing, and I'm certainly more obnoxious than you are. :)

How true Rhonda, but you're obnoxious in such a cute and tactful way!

Not only am I obnoxious, I'm also very, very slow about getting things
done, if you know what I mean.

I may not deserve to be banned, but I surely deserve to be spanked. ;)

You consider yourself wayyyyy more important than any other
entity on this earth does.

You're right, though; censorship is alive and well on MY machine!
I can choose to ignore you anytime I wish to, and not let your
crapola appear on my screen. Censorship is at its best here on
my screen, actually. But other than that, your paranoia is
showing. Oh, did I mention you sound like an idiot?

Should that read "desire to be spanked"? This isn't the first time
you've brought up spanking. :)

Kurt started it.

He has three or four spankings in the queue. And me, I just go with the
flow.
