Formulas in Excel 2002 not updating

Have very large XL spreadsheed with about 150 sheets.
Formulas referencing cels in other sheets in the workbook
are not all updating when source field is changed. If I
hit F2 and enter or recopy the formula, then it updates.
Set to automatic recalc. Any size restrictions in XL 2002
or other suggestions?
