Hello how are you? Thank you for having this web site. How
do you create the same formula format for multiple cells?
The way I do it now is create the formula for each cell in
the range I want. Example I have 20 cells I need to create
a formula within each one; I click on C1 then enter =abs
(a1-b1), next click c2 enter =(a2-b2) etc... I tried
accessing the help assistance, I think I confused it or
me. I greatly appreciate it your help! Thanks Kam

Ken.

click on C1 and enter

=ABS(A2-B2)

press enter, select C1 again, move the mouse pointer to the lower right hand
corner of the cell,
the pointer will change from a thick cross to a thin cross, now left click
the mouse and hold, drag
down (or across) keep holding the mouse, when you are where you want to be,
release the mouse
button . The row numbers have been incremented for each row..

Kam,
You can copy and paste formulas or drag them accross the
cells you want.
You drag by going to the bottom right corner of the cell
you want. A + appears in the corner of the cell hold down
the left click button on your mouse and drag to the last
cell you want the formula in.
Hope this helps you.
