formula that calc the diff in time, with a less than function?

I need a formula that calculates the difference in 2 times but if the
difference is less than a certian amount of minutes i want the cell to show
pattern or something dis-allowing cell entry example: 1:00 + 2h:15m= 3:15
(the 2hr 15 comes from another cell) in the cell next to 3:15 is where I need
the formula to calculate the same as the other but if the difference between
the 2 cells is less than a specific amount of minutes i want the cell to show
a pattern or text or some indicator that to little time is in between what is
allowed. Any help?????
 
Subtract one time from the other and use conditional formatting to highlight
undesirable times.
