Formula problem

I have a workbook that has historical stats for retail
locations. I am trying to figure out a way to take that
data and depending on certain goals and attainment levels
creat a "Checklist" on another tab. Something like "If
cellb <= 252 then cell d= a group of preselected text.
Not sure if this is possible though? Anyone have any
ideas? Also, is there any way to hide certain rows or
columns based on data from another cell?
 
Look in the data menu at Filter=>Autofilter.

another possibility is the Pivot Table report under the Data Menu.
