Formula help....

Hi,

Suppose A1 to A10 contain dates in format dd-mmm-yyyy.
What formula should i use to set A15 to have the least
date amongst B1:B10 ? Similarly, greatest date ??

In fact, what i want to do is search for C1 amongst
B1:B10, and set A15 with the least date value from amongst
the successful matches of the above search. (Similar
concept like SUMIF but finding the minimum & max date
value)

Any help in this regard is appreciated. Thank You.

Use =MIN(A1:A10) to return the smallest date and =MAX
(A1:A10) to return the largest.
