I need help with formulas to calculate the percentage of variance
between planned miles and actual miles driven by drivers at several
different locations. I am given the miles per location daily. I need
to calculate weekly percentage per location. Then YTD percentage per
local, then total for all locals, then YTD for all locals. Can someone
help me?

percentage of variance would be:

(actual miles-planned miles)/planned miles

Planned Actual Variance % Variance
100 115 15 15%
100 85 -15 -15%
100 100 0 0%

you can sum your weekly, monthly and year totals for each and apply the
same formula to all.

I thought I had it right - but in my YTD formula I had the cell
references switched. Thanks for your help. I was starting to doubt
myself. :)
