I am trying to create a simple checkbook register. All entered values are entered only to two decimal places. All formulas are addition and subtraction. I also have some SUMIF functions, and a few IF functions that use sums of a range of cells. I have one IF function that checks my figures against the banks, and the cells it should be comparing appear the same. However, my function is coming back false. I reformatted my cells out to 30 decimal places, and there found additional decimal places that are creating this error. I cannot figure out where the extra decimal places are coming from, as I am not entering them, and addition and subtraction should not be adding them!
