I've created a form in MicroSoft Word 2003 that I have to
send throughout the department. Each person has to fill
out the text boxes I set up using the Forms toolbar and
then forward it back to me. For some reason, no one is
able to type into the text boxes when they receive the
form document. It either brings up Basic or the text
boxes disappear. It seems it is in design mode. Anyone
have a clue? I am completely baffled on this one because
I sent it to myself and it works just fine.

Hi Brian,

Are you absolutely certain you used the FORMS toolbar? It
sounds more like you used the Controls Toolbox for these
textboxes?

If this is what you did, then your compatriots probably have
macro security set to "High".

You're right. It is the Control Toolbox not the Forms
tool bar. I'll try it with Forms and see if I can get a
different result.

Thanks!
