Forms Tool Bar Incorrect objects

Whenever I use the forms toolbar the object that is created on the shee
is a map. The Formula Bar has the formula

=EMBED("MSMap.8","")

The Name Box has "Object 1". The number changes depending on how man
objects I tried to insert.

I am using Office 2000. All of the addins are loaded for MS Excel. M
operating system is Windows XP.

Any Help will be greatly appreciated

My problem is that every control on the form tool bar becomes a ma
object that asks me to choose which map I want in the object. when
do choose a map, the object remains a map object. this happens wit
every button or control that I choose. I want to know if any one has
way to change this behavior so that I can use the controls

Try going to Tools|Customize and click on the Toolbars tab. Find the Forms toolbar in the list and click on it so that it is selected in blue. Then, click Reset on the Right side of the dialog box and click yes. See if that works, if you haven't tried it already. Keep in mind this will eliminate any custom buttons on the toolbar
