What are some of the ways to pass a parameter to a form? Is there a
preferred method. For example, I want to open an associate maintenance form
from another form, what are some of the methods to pass the Associate's ID
between the forms.

Mark,
When you open a form with code you can pass in some argument:

DoCmd.OpenForm urFormName, , , urFilter, , , arg(s)
