formatting text in BCM dissappears after "close and save"

If I format any text (bold, bullets, underline, etc) in any text fields of
BCM (e.g., Opportunity/Details, Business Contacts/Details, Business
Notes/Comments, PhoneCall/Comments) ... all formatting is lost when I close
and save.
 
I've only tested formatting of Comments in Opportunities and Accounts but had
the same problem. BCM allows display of and use of the buttons in the
Formatting toolbar and then properly displays the formatting in the comment
area. On save & close, the formatting is lost. This really limits the utility
of the Comment area for me.

Form cannot be customised in BCM but it is being considered in BCM V3
