formatting query, silly and urgent!

When saving word reports I need to use the facility where you press the hyphen key three times and then return which is supposed to make a big line across the page.

I need to do this so when saving my work in a web page format the line goes all the way across. Why doesnt it work when I press hyphen X3 and enter?

I know this is silly but it is very important!

Hi Glenn,

In Tools > AutoCorrect > AutoFormat As You Type, check the box for
Borders.

I think you're the first person who ever came here asking how to turn
it on. Most people have it turned on and don't know it, and they don't
know how to turn it off. Hence the FAQ article at
