formatting problem when reading other people's documents

I have recently discovered that my install of MS Word (2003 11.6359.6360 SP
1) appears to have some kind of compatability problem. Several other users
have sent me documents that look great on their systems, but when I open the
document, various things (Apparently random) are way out of wack. Sometimes
its a particular diagram that is hosed, other times a title to a table
repeats its self, the problems vary. But, in testing, we have found that only
my Word is having the issue with these documents.

hard to say, with only these two, vaguely described examples. Can you be a bit
more specific about the kinds of problems you're seeing?

My first inclination is that it may be a graphics card driver that needs
replacing/updating. Especially if the print-out is different from what you're
seeing on the monitor.
