Can someone please tell me how to format my hard drive with xp on it. I
don't have a boot disk just a cd. I upgraded from 98. I don't have uninstall
xp in my add and remove programs. I do know how to format 98 . But I can't
get rid of xp
Thanks

When you upgraded did you choose the option to save the
information in case you wanted to revert back to 98 (I
think that is the default choice however)? If you did, it
is possible you removed this option from ADD REMOVE
PROGRAMS because it does eat up a lot of disk space. I
suppose it is possible there was not enough disk space
for the XP installation to save the information to allow
that option. You may have to save your important data and
do a compleat install of 98 again. If you do have to do
that, it is very easy to set up a dual boot of both
operating systems. Just do a Google search for "dual
boot 98 and XP" (you can do a clean install of XP from an
upgrade cd).
