Formatting Anomaly

I've asked Excel to format all of the cells in a column with Wrap Text, and
for the most part it does just that. But I've found that when the text is
too long, it fills the cell with '#'. Is there any way to get Excel to wrap
the text without regard to how much there is?

Excel 2002 (10.6501.6714)SP3

Thanks.

I don't think it's the wrap text that's the problem.

Try formatting the cell as General. (Text format shows ### when you have a
string between 255 and 1024 characters long in that cell.)

Thanks immeasurably.
