formatting a disk

- What operating system do you use?
- How exactly do you format the disk?
- What disk are you trying to format? A:, C: or D:?
- What do you mean by "hang up"? You usually hang up
a telephone, not a PC.
- What virus scanner do you use? What is the date of its pattern file?
