howdy,

i have a dell dimension desktop (fairly new) and i
formatted my C: drive last night because of multiple
problems i've experienced.

after formatting, i restarted and booted from my dell
windows XP CD. i started a new installation and things
were going fine until about 10%. after that, for some
reason, my PC couldn't find a TON of files it needed off
the CD-rom (mostly .DLL files). i tried hitting "enter"
to find and find and find them to no avail. finally i
had to hit "esc" to skip a ton of those files. once it
got to 100%, my PC restarted to start windows, and it
keeps just going to the blue screen, talking about how a
possible virus may be on my PC.

i'm really lost and i can't figure out how to get windows
to install properly on my PC. if someone can help me, it
would be GREATLY appreciated. if you could email me
help, my email address is: (e-mail address removed)

many thanks in advance,
rob

Fairly new? Call Dell - sounds like you have some bad components and/or
CDs.
