I have tried formating my windows xp which was installed
fully from boot, no upgrade. I did as advised by booting
from windows xp cd from startup of computer, going
through the setup(blue screen with text). Once at the
screen which asks which partition i want to install xp
into, i was to delete the one for which xp was in and
then create a partition using empty space and install xp
into that. But when i select to delete the partition c:
it says that it is unable to perform the operation
because c: contains temporary setup files needed for the
setup.
I was advised, however, to set the bios to boot from cd
but i dont know how to do that. I, instead, put the cd
into the drive and clicked onto install windows xp while
in windows xp and selected full install and the program
restarted the computer to bring me to the setup screen
(blue screen with text).
Could someone please advise me on what to do and if i
must set the bios to boot from cd can someone please tell
me how to do that.
A response would be greatly appreaciated.
Thankyou in advance...
