Can't you just stick the CD in & go from there? I'll get more info & help
you tomorrow. I've done it several times. Just need to refresh my own
memory. Or today, rather. I gotta crash.

Set the bios to boot from the CD, put the XP disk in the drive and boot-up
all the necessary utilities are in the setup program to format the
harddrive.
