I formated my computer then something came up and
whatever i typed in it said invalid code. So I restarted
my computer and it was done formatting but now it wont
start up, It says insert disk and i tried the boot disk,
but it wont work, and I tried the Win 98 Start Up CD and
Windows XP PRO. and they wont work either. Does anybody
know how to install Windows XP Pro.? Because I can't
startup my computer to install it, so I need to install
it somehow from the beginning so the computer can load it
because it doesnt have anything installed so it cant load
anything. Does anybody know what to do please help me.

It does not sound like you BIOS is configured to boot to other devices / or
try other boot devices. Do you know how to enter the BIOS or setup on you
PC?

It is getting late. Let me see if I can rephase that last post. "It sounds
as if your BIOS is not configured to boot from CD / or try other boot
devices."

Go into the Bios and set the Cdrom to be first boot device. Usually
tapping on Delete button on startup will
get you in. Then use the WinXP CD to boot and reformat your partitions
and reinstall.

Be sure to set the boot order in your bios to the disk you want to boot
from. Sounds like it's set to boot from C:
