I recently updated a MS Access application that has most queries embedded in
VB. I made the updates and tested them on my computer and they worked fine.
I sent the updated application to a collegue and it worked fine on his
computer as well. We then installed it on a third computer and it didn't
work. I subsequently found that it did not work because the Format function
was not being recognized in the queries. The odd thing is that an earlier
version of the application does work on this third computer.
Does anyone know why such a thing would happen? It seems terribly
inconsistent. Is there some setting that could cause this?
