If you choose Distributed in the Horizontal Alignment section when your text
is vertical, in the orientation section, the Justify Distributed check box
becomes active. I cannot see any difference in the textwhen this box is or
isn't selected but when I teach it on Wednesday someone is bound to ask what
it does. Does anyone know.

Thanks

I also do not see a difference, and after a moderate Google search, no
relevant results. I imagine back in the day of old computers it might do
something... who knows.

Justify: spreads the text to align both left and right for _one line_.
Distributed: same as Justify, but for multiple lines (when your text wraps
to create more than one line of text).

Hope this helps, Jim

Thanks Jim. Nice to know it's not just me. It's "new" in 2003 so I assume
they added it for a reason. Someone else says, "It distributes the words in
your cell so they fill the entire cell. The first word will be left
justified, the last word will be right justified, and the words in between
will have the same amount of space between them." that's the same if I don't
tick it.

Cheers

Anne
