I want to type 50 into a table and want it to register 50%.

When I format the entry as percent. I don't get the desired result.

Do I have to do something other that just format as percent?

Thanks,
Darrell

You can type:
50%
or
.5
and Access will interpret it as 50%.

If you are using a form to enter the data, this article explains how to have
50 interpreted as 50%:
Enter a value as a percent

You might also be interested to know that the next version of Access (2007)
will do this without the code.
