I have several forms which are set to send results to
both an online HTML file AND an Email message.
The HTML file works fine, but the Email messages get
truncated when I use any format OTHER THAN Formatted
Text. When the Email is sent using any HTML format some
of the latter fields simply get deleted.
It SEEMS to be a function of the amount of data entered
on the form, because when I enter longer responses, more
information is chopped off.
This is happening on THREE web sites I am working with,
two of which are on Microsoft servers, and one of which
is on a Unix server.
I have been unable to find any configuration parameters
that address Email File Size, or anything remotely
related to this problem.
PLEASE ADVISE -- is there an unpublished limitation to
the size of an Email message that can be sent from a form
using FrontPage (happens in FP 2000, 2002 and 2003)? Is
there a workaround other than making sure the Emailed
format is Formatted Text (which is less desireable to
read than some of the HTML formats)? What else could be
happening here?
Thanks in advance for your help.
