I forgot to backup the data in outlook before install the Win XP SP2, now I
can't retrieve the contact list. Please help.

But you still have all your mail? Do the Contacts show in the Contacts
folder?

-What do the Outlook Icons Mean?
-Create an Office 2003 CD slipstreamed with Service Pack 1

No mail and contact list shown. When I open the outloook, the pop-up window
ask for the setup procedure which like the 1st time use.

Configure your Outlook and then search your harddisk for pst-files (include
hidden files/folders during your search).

To access that pst-file in the new profile;
File-> Open-> Outlook Data File...

To set it as the default delivery location;
Tools-> E-mail Accounts...-> button Next-> use the dropdownlist below
