Forgot Admin. password

Is there anyway to get around this or do I have to
reinstall windows XP. I don't want to lose the information
I already have on the hard drive.

How to Log On to Windows XP If You Forget Your Password or Your Password

If that doesn't work out, you might try to reset the local Administrator
password with one of the methods mentioned here:

After you've recovered from this embarassing situation,
think about two wider issues:
- Having just one admin account for your PC is about as
useful as having just one set of keys for your car.
- If you don't back up your important files once every
week then it's only a matter of time until you lose the
lot. Electronic data must NEVER kept in just the one
place.
