How can I stop porn from coming onto my system? I have
porn just pop-up with the address exits.adultcash.com,
yet when I search for this file, I can't find it. I have
young children and Obviously, they don't need to see this
stuff. Your help is appreciated.

The pop ups are getting in through a messenger hole. Go
to start>run and type services.msc. Scroll down to
messenger and right click. Select properties and under
general go to startup type and select disabled then select
stop under service status. Problem should be solved.

try spybot search and destroy, and adaware, worked for
me, both are available from zdtv.net. Hope this helps

Go to tools, internet options,
click privacy,
click edit, and type in the address of the site you want
to block and block

Try going into "tools" "internet options..." "Delete
cookies" "delete files" if this doesn't work just adjust
your content davisor

Greetings --

And, since the most likely source of this particular problem *is*
spyware/adware, just what is your objection to the advice rendered by
the others?

Hi

I had the same problem with porn pop-ups. I downloaded ad-
aware 6 and it has completely solved the problem for me

While your suggestion would work for "blocking" hosts, 127.0.0.1 is the
local loopback IP address, is used by internal IP processes and you
might not wish to use it. We have blocked addresses in hosts file using
a null IP: 0.0.0.0 - works but doesn't run the risk of confusing
anything with the local loopback IP.
