Force user to log off in a non domain environment

I currently have a Windows XP which is on a workgroup.
I wish to restrict users logging onto the computer after a certain time.
I am not quite sure how this can be done.
Have anybody done this before?

Please give some advice.

Actually, I believe it is only a computer on a domain that can do this.
Probably because the time settings are more easily verifiable that way.

In any case, what I would do is probably write a script and put it into the
LOGON Scripts section of the Local Policies that checks the time and logs
the person off after that time. You may need to lock down the BIOS though
to prevent tampering.

There are also some third party programs that do this, such as: Access Boss
But I have never used the program nor looked much into it.
