Hi,

I have a desktop shortcut to a folder "D:\Bofu2", but when I run it it
always defaults to Windows Explorer opening it without the folders viewing.
I need to then always hit the "Folder" button. Is there a way I can force
this shortcut to display the folders in the left pane of Windows Explorer?

Glen,

This is the powerpoint newsgroup (too many tinnies?).....you're lost right?

%SystemRoot%\explorer.exe /e, D:\Bofu2\

See the /e and the trailing \ after Bofu2 ?

The /e gets the (what I consider normal view).
The trailing \ shows that directory and tells windows not to look for a file called bofu2

More options...
