Hi,
Someone knows a program that could clean *all* references to
a software (or driver) you can find on a PC once it's installed
on XP sp 2, and really rid all directories, registry etc. of any
reference to this soft a/o driver ???
I've been trying to uninstall the driver of my Eicon DIVA
USB ADSL modem for hours because I have to update it but it seems
IMPOSSIBLE (the pb is that I have now NO MORE access to internet from
this PC) to do...
Thanks a lot (I'm really stuck and desperate) !
Regards,
Spendius

Go to Start/Run, and type DEVMGMT.MSC , highlight the device, Action menu,
"Uninstall",

shutdown and remove the physical device

then restart Windows,

Install the drivers, (add-remove hardware, 'manual option', 'have disk')

shutdown and install the physical device,

restart, to let windows find the device automatically.
