this is the test i'm facing now!

Let`s say that i'm inside a lan (wireless), this Lan is made of 10 PCs.
each pc has a dynamic IP address assigned by the DHCP of the main
router. The Lan has an internet access, with one Static IP (the
router).

Let's say that the Lan, has access to a specific web site and the
access (to this web site) is granted through the IP.

I tried to make a complete mirror of the web site with HTTP track, but
it keeps giving me only errors.

Question: with my pc (one of the Lan) i wanna go on that web site and
make a complete copy of it: how can i perform that?

I have:
a) unlimited access to the Lan;
b)unlimited space on my hard

Thanks

This all makes sense, but the only way we can help you is if you give
us the errors that http track provides. Then we will be able to know
where the error is being initiated from. Other than that, your
situation seems fairly simple.

Also, when you say 'access to the website' do you mean only through
HTTP port 80? or can you access the server using ssh or ftp?

this are the facts: if i go on the website, i can access to all the
pages. If i try to copy it with HTTP Track (same Pc, same IP, .....), i
get a page which invites me to buy a subscription.

I already have a subscription through the lan, but i wanna make a copy
and study from home.

What should i do?

I don't know this. I guess only 8080

I do not know the HTTP track software very well, but I would assume
that if the website you are viewing has designers who are smart enough
to program access limited by IP address, they are smart enough to
disable offline browsers, such as http track. There are many easy and a
few difficult ways to do this, but it is possible.

An other possibility is that HTTP track is opening multiple connections
to the server, which they might not allow. try to see if there are
settings you can modify as to how may connections it makes.

If worse comes to worse, you can always use the 'save page as' feature
or your browser.

The fact is that the web site is really big, several Gb.
Any other software?

Thanks
