Rob,

You said the following in another thread answer yesterday:

"Once you generate the JAlbum on your local machine you need to import it
into your open web, then Publish it to the online server. Then it should
work fine (I've used it)"

I've had a problem with generating my JAlbum DIRECTLY into my FP folder
hierarchy on my local HD. JAlbum generated their own CSS that blocked my
formatting on ALL pages in my site. I had to go disable their CSS on each
non-JAlbum page to reset the formatting.

Might the fact that I let JAlbum publish directly into the web rather than
to another folder and then IMPORT into FP be the reason?

Thanks for any thoughts you might have.

Could be.

I'm not an expert with css, but I did manage to customize my JAlbum exactly the way I wanted it after IMPORTING it into FP. And really had no FP issues doing it this way.

I should point out that it took me many experimental attempts into an 'out of FP folder' to get it to look the way I wanted it to... THEN imported it...and actually did some tweeking in FP too.

You can see it at http://www.balletandfriends.org then click on one of the photoalbum links.

My problem now is I have NO recollection of the entire process and will have to build more albums for this site soon :-(

hth.

Rob
