I am using Word 2000
There are times when I really HATE this program. Word
Perfect was so much easier to work with.

Currently I have a large document - approx 70 pages. I
created a Header and a footer. Footer 1 is exactly what I
want. About 5 pages into the document, I had to put in a
section break in order to change the orientation of the
next page (pg 6) only. Now the footer on this page reads
footer #3 and the page numbering if off. It is beginning
at page 2. So I went in and checked the formating and
check the box for continue from previous. I even clicked
the box that says "same as previous". But the page number
will not change. I even went back to the footer #1 and
clicked the box that says show next, trying to find where
this is changing - but nothing happened. It will not show
me footer #2 or #3.

Does anyone have any idea as to where I should look next???
Right now I am ready to throw this program right out the
window.

To change the starting number for the page numbers, click on the "Format
Page Number" button on the Headers and Footers toolbar.

To find out where your Section Breaks occur, click on the ¶ (Show/Hide)
button
