First, if you have not done it already, try rebooting.

Next tell us how your fonts have changed?

Are they also smaller?

Assuming my guess is right and the fonts are all smaller, the screen
resolution has changed. Right click on the desktop and then choose Settings
and move the setting to something less.

BTW the letter "i" when referring to yourself or when the first letter
of a sentence is usually in caps in English.

In the desktop right click properties/appearance chek resolution and font
size and select a combination which is satisfactory. if you are using a very
high resolution monitor which came with software to increase the font size
of desktop icons e.g. Liquid View, you liklely need to upgrade and reinstall
the software as in my case the Sp2 install removed the software.
After reinstalling the version of Liquid view for SP2 I was Ok again using
my21 inch iiyama flat panel monitor @1600x1200 and nvidia Geforce 5950 Ultra
dispaly card.
BTW "iihama" is splet without a capital "i"
Good Luck

ok i checked my resolution and that has not changed
and I'm not using anything like liquid view etc.
what happened was i shut my computer off
and on reboot it all changed i didn't do
anything to change it

I suggest your reinstall your graphics driver. What card are you using and
which version of the driver/

im using a g force ti 4600
and the 45.23 drivers
have been running like this for over a year
and this is the first time i saw this
happen

Is it possible that you are booting into safe mode?

Also do a right click and then the "Appearances" tab and then font size.
See if that might be it.

Your drivers are long out of date and may be not compatible with SP2. The
latest WHQL driver for your card is
Version: 61.77 Release Date: July 27, 2004 available at th Nvidai web site
http://www.nvidia.com/page/home
I recommend you download this driver, save the file and extract it to a
folder named "Geforce ti 4600" and then upgrade your existing drivers using
Control Panel\System\Hardware\Display\Properties\Update Driver choose not to
browse for an upgrade or from a CD and got to the next step then browse your
folder "Geforce ti 4600" let Windows install the driver and then reboot and
set your font size.

ok according to the nvidia group
these are the best drivers for my card
and 1 don't have sp2 installed yet nor
will i for a while till all the problems i
am seeing are solved

i did a system restore
that fixed the problem cant figure out
why they all changed though

Great news. If your System Restore was BEFORE SP2 then installing the latter
was the source of your problem!
