The fonts will reset under the tools menu and on new e mail form, but at
first key stroke they return to original setting? The exact same thing
happened with Outlook Express. Thanks, E. H. Canada

As you're going in via the "tools" menu, i asume you want to make 'global'
font changes. ie. you want to use the new font in ALL you're e-mails.

There are 2 'pop-ups' with this, so its easy to miss a selection - ok, lets
go:

Go into WinMail.
Select: "Tools" menu.
At the bottom of that list, select: "Options"
From the top of the next window, select: "Compose" tab.
Next, there are TWO "Font Settings" tabs - For Mail, Select the TOP one.

(This is where another 'pop-up' window apears)

Change your; Font, Font Style, Size and Colour (as required)
When done, click the "ok" button" (this 'pop-up' will now dissapear and you
should be back at the "Compose" panel)
The buttons at the bottom of the "Compose" pannel are now active, so:
First click on: "Apply"
THEN click on "Ok"

Now try and compose a new e-mail - you should find that the new settings
will take over.

Good luck, have fun & let me know how you get on.

Spent hours on phone with MS trying to resolve same issue. Don't think they
know how to fix....they had me create a new user key to resolve program which
actually worked for 10 minutes....then for whatever reason it reverts again.

Finally gave up....same as I did in XP.

Make sure you aren't composing using a stationery template. Also try
CTRL-Spacebar just before typing.
