Hi,
I have mad a bit of a mistake and was wondering if anyone
knows how to repair it.
I was having problems with fonts printing on my windows
2000 system and deleted a load of fonts and then
reinstalled them again. The printing problem is sorted
out but now one of my program interfaces will not display
correctly, All the fonts are very basic and to big so the
interface will not fit on a screen. It doesn't matter
what screen resolution I set. The font is always the same.

Now I deleted them the incorrect way. I just jumped in
and highlighted and pressed delete. Some wouldn't delete
anyway.

Any ideas what the problem could be? All the other
programs display just fine. It is in an office situation
and I wouldn't have the slightest idea where the original
discs are so any thoughts where the original discs are
not needed would be great.
Thanks
Lenny

You've evidently deleted and not reinstalled a font required by the
application -- which you neglected to name -- and Windows is coping with
the lack by substituting something it regards as similar. Your best bet
may be to reinstall the application. If that's not feasible, perhaps you
can get the missing fonts from a nearby machine that's working properly.

In the future, be sure to make backup copies of anything you're going to
delete just in case something like this should happen.
