font size

Everything on my computer, icons, text, pages, has suddenly increased in size
by 50 %. I am able to change things back individually but there must be
something that changed everything. I've tried restoring but it will not
restore I assume because it does not recognise that something has changed.
Any ideas??

You are running at a lower resolution than you used to.

To change it, right-click on the desktop and choose Properties. On the
settings tab, slide the resolution slider to the right to your preferred
resolution.
