I have a small wireless work group in which all users have exactly the same
hardware and settings. From time to time a system fails for software or
hardware reasons and I restore the whole OS [XP Pro + SP2] using the latest
saved image from my work station with Acronis True Image. The image will not
be more than 24 hours old.
When the system is running again there are always a few items that have to
be corrected. Some items cannot be handled because the selected system font
is 120 dpi and the application configuration screens only display properly
in 96 dpi. So I have make the change reboot, fix the outstanding glitches,
change back and reboot for 120 dpi. All this takes about ten minutes
Is there a tool that enables one to view a window temporarily in a font
other than the default without a reboot? Or a better way of approaching the
problem
