font installation

I need to install new fonts. They were transferred from
my Mac and I need to use them in my windows XP home
edition enviroment. I was able to drag into adobe type
manager but my programs do not recognize them. Need them
ASAP.......what to do??
 
You need Windows fonts, MAC fonts are different format.
You can find fonts on MS web sites...

If they're adobe fonts there are two parts to the font. If they're true
type, there's only one.

Have you gone to the Fonts folder and chosen "add new font"?
