I am having problems with the font on ie7 as i just installed it, it now

Unless you're a BETA tester, what are you doing installing a BETA
program on your computer!?
Uninstall it in Add/Remove and, if you insist on having IE7 on your
machine, wait until the final version comes out.

Tools | Internet Options | Advanced
Scroll down to Multimedia.
Uncheck the option to always use Clear Type.

This is checked on my box and the web pages are clear.
I am using TFT/LCD monitors.

LCD monitors usually look better with Clear Type on.
