I have an IF formula and need to change the font colour of the FALSE value to
red - how do I do it?????? Help!!!!

check out conditional formating in Help.

If you mean in the equation itself, I do not think you can do it.

Couple of ways: Conditional Formatting is one:

go to FORMAT/Conditional Format and set it up so that if the answer to
the calculation is less than 0, the formatting will turn the font red.

You can do the same thing with the normal Format function, but the
conditional formatting gives you the chance of colouring the background
and all sorts of other goodies

Enjoy
