I have a user that is trying to change the font color in
her messages and it will not change. I am able to change
the font size and type but the color will not change. It
stay black no matter what you do. I've looked in the Font
settings in Outlook and that looks fine. I've uninstalled
and reinstalled Outlook and it still did the same thing.
I've tried different mail formats (HTML, Rich Text, etc)
and that didn't work.

The user is running Outlook 2002 and does not have any
other Office components installed. Anyone have any ideas
of what to try? Is there something in the registry or in
a config file that's not letting the user change the text
color?

Thanks,

Nick Scott

I reinstalled Outlook and the color will change in the message but
it's not visible on the user's end. I sent a test e-mail to myself
from the user and I saw that the text had different colors in it.

Anyone know if there's some setting somewhere that will "lock" the
font color to black? e-mail/web links show up as blue so Outlook
isn't without any color on the user's end.
