Font changing from new times roman to creepy and back to new times roman

Hi
We have a Word document that was type din new times roman. The font was changed to "creepy" and for some strange reason, when we change to any font, the creepy still displays and it will never display anything but the boxes in the "creepy" font style

Can you give some advise on how to return the letters to a normal font

Don't know what you mean by "the boxes", but try this.
Format > Font, make your choices, click Default, click
Yes, click OK, and close Word. If you are prompted to
save changes to the template, do so. If you need more
assistance, state the situation clearly and carefully.
