In using 2002, XP, when I prin, the font changes to a much
larger font than shows in Print Preview or in the
document. The only fix I could find was making sure the
font was a true type, and it is yet it still prints a few
pages with a 24 font but the rest of the presentation is
fine...I have to have this printed for an auditor by the
end of the day so any ideas would be much appreciated!!
thanks

Try recreating the goofy pages and print again. If that fixes it, the problem
may simply be a bit of random nastiness that sometimes causes font glitches in
PPT.

You might also try printing JUST the glitched pages, one at a time.

Thanks Steve - it was very bizarre that when I would copy
and paste the font would go up to 38, I'd resize it yet it
would print out at 38 anyway. The only reason I could
think of as to why it was doing that was the text on the
block where it says "put text here" was a large font so I
changed that before pasting new text and that solved it.
Thanks for the quick reply!

Ah, I think maybe you've been bitten by what MS thinks is a feature and most
users consider a nasty bug. ,-)

Choose Tools, AutoCorrect Options, click the "Autoformat as you type" tab and
remove the check next to the three bottommost options. That should prevent
further unpleasantness, I think.
