When I go to my C drive, there are all kinds of folders that appear with
names such as 09967f2e7c0907a43b93. I don't know where they are coming from
and why they are there. Can anyone help me with this?

Likely they are decompressed or unpacked updates. The identifier is
generally called a GUID ( Globally Unique Identifier ). Reboot your
PC and then you can safely delete them.

Thanks, I wasn't sure if it was okay to get rid of them or not. Appreciate
your help
